Hallo liebe Leserinnen und Leser!

Nach dem Rennwochenende in Beaver Creek hatte ich eine kurze Pause, ich wollte dann Donnerstag und Freitag mit Hans Grugger auf der Reiteralm trainieren während unsere Kollegen in Val d Isere die Rennen bestritten. Leider war mein lädiertes Knie vom Beaver Creek Ausfall noch nicht ganz ok, und so habe ich das Training nach 3 Freifahrten wieder abgebrochen und bin zur Therapie. Am Montag sind wir dann schon nach Gröden angereist, wir konnten gemeinsam mit einigen anderen Mannschaften am Einfahrhang Super G trainieren. Ohne zu übertreiben, war das mein bester Trainingstag seit langem. Eine harte Kunstschneepiste hatte ich schon ewig nicht mehr unter meinen Beinen (Ausn. auf Rennpisten). Leider bin ich etwas über das Ziel hinausgeschossen, mein Knie spielt eben nicht mehr bei allem mit. ;-(

Die beiden Abfahrtstrainings verliefen nur teilweise nach Wunsch. Im Vorfeld hoffte ich schon, dass ich in Gröden deutlich besser dabei bin. ?Leider? kann ich das Tempo nur auf den oberen 40 Fahrsekunden mithalten, da war ich am zweiten Tag sogar 5. Aber in den darauffolgenden leichten Kurven komme ich nicht so auf Zug, wie ich mir das vorstelle und bekomme im Schnitt bis zur Ciaslat 1,5 Sekunden. Viel zu viel für diesen Bereich, den durch die Ciaslat bekomme ich noch mal einiges mit und weil dann die Geschwindigkeit in den Zielhang fehlt setzt sich das Spiel so fort. Also man kann zusammenfassen ? stark angefangen und stark nachgelassen *g*

Heute habe ich einmal frei, für den Super G ist kein Platz. Ich habe auch nicht damit gerechnet. Aber es blutet mein Herz schon ein wenig, denn die Chance in die SG Mannschaft zu kommen wäre so gut wie selten. Nur liegt das auch an meiner Abfahrtsleistung. Und so lange ich mit drei Sekunden Rückstand ins Ziel wedle brauche ich auch keinen SG Startplatz.

Also gilt die Konzentration der morgigen Abfahrt. Ich werde versuchen, meinen Speed von oben weiter mit nach unten mitzunehmen. Denn oben weiß ich, wenn alles passt, dass ich wieder zu den schnellsten gehöre.

Ich freue mich auch schon auf die Fanunterstützung aus Göstling ? mit euch ist es immer noch gegangen *g* . Punkte sollten jetzt doch langsam drinnen sein.
